PAMELA J. BRANCH

Pamela Johnson Branch, Esq. has been a practicing attorney in Virginia for 21 years. She received a B.A. in English/Women’s Studies from Westhampton College at the University of Richmond in 1990, and received her J.D. from T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1993. Out of law school, she was focused on advocating for the rights of employees as an EEO investigator for the then Virginia Council on Human Rights, followed by seven years as a Staff Attorney and Managing Attorney for the Virginia Department for the Rights of Virginians with Disabilities (later called the Virginia Office for Protection & Advocacy, now called the Disability Law Center).

Desiring to balance her public practice with private practice, Pamela joined Lawrence & Associates as an Associate in 2006 representing employees facing discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and unfair wages on the local, state, and federal level and private sectors before the EEOC, MSPB, and in state and federal court. Hoping to take her extensive experience working on behalf of employees, Pamela became in house counsel for a local EMS system in 2014 where she advised the organization on updating policies and procedures to curtail potential discrimination claims and employee grievances. In 2015, she acquired her SHRM-CP certification to better understand HR law and systems.

In 2016, Pamela returned to private practice as a solo practitioner in order to return to her passion and commitment to educating employees about their workplace rights, and providing personalized and compassionate representation to those who have employment challenges.

PAYMENT
The firm accepts the following forms of payment via VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, personal or business check, and cash.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please provide 24 hours notice before cancelling an appointment. Failure to do so will result in you being charged for the full appointment. If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, then you will be charged the full appointment fee. If an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours notice but a make-up appointment is able to be scheduled for the same week, then no fee will be charged for the missed appointment.
